Time ago I heard something about the MOTU team, and I said: I should give it a go! 
I attended a MOTU session during the Feisty Open Week, and dholbach told us about this world… an interesting challenge – I though.
Daniel inspired me to cross the red line and I started quickly with MOTU related tasks during the Gutsy Cycle; with Daniel as mentor and other guys who helped me, I did the following things:

As you can see, I have to learn about merges… and Hardy Heron is waiting for them!
MOTU team is a very good place to learn how to work in teams, with people from different parts of the world and, of course, communication skills are the most important thing.
Thanks to everyone who supported me during the last release cycle. It was special because I felt as a real contributor! (Nowadays, I can reply the common phrase: Show me the code!
